A few useful answers

Before you
get started.

What is Local Payments?

Local Payments is Abroad’s local payment processor. Through the documented Brazil collection flow, a customer pays in BRL via Pix and Abroad delivers USDC to the destination wallet supplied by your platform.

Can customers pay without a crypto wallet?

Yes. They pay the Pix request from their Brazilian bank or payment app. USDC is delivered to the wallet designated by your business or platform.

Can I collect through Bre-B in Colombia?

The currently documented collection flow is Pix in Brazil. Bre-B in Colombia is supported for payouts through Pay Abroad. Discuss other collection requirements with Abroad before planning an integration.

Is settlement guaranteed to be instant?

No fixed settlement time is guaranteed. USDC delivery follows confirmed Pix settlement and depends on the selected network, available route, and required checks. Track the final status rather than treating payment initiation as completion.

How do I get started?
